Denver, CO – Local contemporary gospel group Tyree Morris & Hearts of Worship will close out a year of performances before thousands at venues such as the Vail Music Festival and the Anaheim, California House of Blues on a different note – serving the homeless. This holiday, the group will rally their collective resources to support the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless Adopt-a-Home initiative. The effort will furnish one of 50 apartments reserved at the new Renaissance Uptown Lofts, 1509 Pearl Street in Denver for the area’s chronically homeless.
Tyree Morris & Hearts of Worship will collect new or used furniture, appliances and other household items during the Hearts for the Homeless campaign now through Wednesday, December 15th. Financial contributions can be made payable to the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless and will be used to purchase a new set of mattresses. Checks should reference the Hearts for the Homeless campaign in the memo line.
