IPC Report Highlights Growth of Preschool Franchise Market in India

A report published by the International Preschool Curriculum (IPC) on franchise options for the Indian market.

Nov. 24, 2010 - PRLog -- THE INTERNATIONAL PRESCHOOL CURRICULUM conducted a survey of 26 preschool entrepreneurs who considered buying an established franchise brand or are in the process of establishing a preschool in India.  Of the respondents, all but one are concerned of high franchise licensing fees.  Other concerns that emanated from the study were the recurring royalty fees which are usually taken from gross revenue, not net profit; restricted premises and furniture requirements; lack of qualified or proven curricula material and lack of teacher training.

The quasi aspect of franchising seeks to overcome the high costs associated with market entry for new business owners while offering a high level of teacher training, curricula materials, branding assistance, policy handbooks and PR.   A qusi franchise also eliminates the royalties thereby reducing operating costs.

The level of flexibility offered by the International Preschool Curriculum quasi franchise program entitles school owners to identify sites that suit their requirements and budget and make a low risk investment with a higher rate of return and quicker value realisation.

Becoming an IPC franchise school gives schools access to daily and ongoing consultancy guidance, teacher training, academic journals, professional development courses a variety of other educational and business benefits.  The IPC is founded on an academically proven and researched method of teaching, as peer reviewed by early childhood professors, consultants and teachers from around the world.   The IPC therefore one of the most researched and celebrated early childhood curricula available.    Aside from the IPC’s academic foundations, the association also offers marketing and PR assistance and allocates a substantial budget for each franchise launch.  This includes preferential listings on the IPC website, a custom website, directory submissions, press release submissions and an Associated Press article distributed to all press outlets in India.   As a franchisee, you will also receive 3D rendering suggestions for your proposed site in terms of branding and exterior and interior appearance.
