Business Made Simple Launches BPO Operations targeting SMEs in Kenya - Plans to Recruit 80 Employees

Nov. 24, 2010 - PRLog -- Business Made Simple, a pioneer with online company registration services has announced its foray into the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) business. The internal division, EVA (Executive Virtual Assistants) would focus on providing customer service, sales and marketing outsourcing and personal assistant services for its clients. This foray would reinforce BMS's philosophy of of simplifying business for entrepreneurs and creating viable employment for young people in rural Kenya.

According to Mr. Harry Karanja, Director of Operations, Business Made Simple, EVA has begun by training 12 Executive Virtual Assistants. These Evas, as they are referred are already providing sales & marketing support services to some of their customers who registered businesses through them. "The launch is part of our company’s strategic initiative to offer micro and small businesses in Kenya quality end-to-end business support services that bigger organisations have enjoyed for years" he further added. “Our products are priced for the small business market, with services starting at KES. 5,900 per month for professional customer service, sales & marketing support”

BMS is expected to add around 80 employees by mid 2011 for its EVA operations. These employees would be recruited from counties all around Kenya. The company would benefit from tapping the large pool of skilled human resources available in rural areas which are connected to the high speed national internet backbone.

EVA aims to increase productivity of small businesses in Kenya by freeing up resources spent on routine and administrative tasks. It also hopes to create employment opportunities for young Kenyans in rural areas that have high-speed internet connection such as 3G.
