The CEWR indicated that it had been given official status as a party to the proposed rate increase protest by the Texas Commission of Environmental Quality (TCEQ). The TCEQ has not finalized a preliminary hearing date for involved parties to argue their cases. The CEWR is conducting a comprehensive effort to provide CLWSC’s customer ratepayers the opportunity to make an informed choice on the proposed 71% increase to current water rates.
