Free Zombie Stories: Author Releases Zombie Short Stories Free of Charge

In an effort to spread the zombie virus, author Brian Kittrell has begun releasing a series of zombie short stories detailing the lives and events surrounding non-central characters in The Survivor Chronicles series.

Nov. 24, 2010 - PRLog -- Author Brian Kittrell has begun writing and releasing a series of short stories - known as The Survivor Short Stories - as add-on material to The Survivor Chronicles series.  These stories detail the lives and events surrounding the people who are met throughout the novels by the main characters but who are not main characters themselves.

"I've always wondered what happened to the people that Nadene and her friends met along their journey to escape the east.  I decided to tell their stories in the form of short stories," said Kittrell, author of The Dying Times and other novels in The Survivor Chronicles series.  "I was just as interested to find out what happened to them as the fans were, if not even more."

The Survivor Short Stories will be made available for free to the downloading public through the Late Nite Books publishing website when they are made available.  The first such story details the life of Pamela Schafer's boss, Harvey, who owned the diner where Pamela worked prior to the outbreak.

When asked what happens to Harvey at the end of the short story, Kittrell responded simply, "You'll have to read the story to find out, of course.  Since the story is freely downloadable in PDF format and through ebook distributors, that shouldn't be too much to ask."

The short story is available through the Late Nite Books website (specifically, http://www.latenitebooks.com/2010/11/23/survivor-short-st... ), through Smashwords for free, and Amazon's marketplace.

For more details on The Survivor Chronciles, interested parties can visit either http://get.latenitebooks.com for retailer information or http://www.latenitebooks.com/novels/ for information on the entire series.
