IE Discovery Awarded Discovery Management Contract by U.S. Navy

Nov. 23, 2010 - PRLog -- Austin, Texas  — IE Discovery, a leading provider of comprehensive Discovery Management, litigation support and managed ESI services, is pleased to announce that the Navy Litigation Office (NLO), a division of the Office of General Counsel (OGC) within the Department of the Navy, renewed the company’s long-term contract to provide litigation support services. The contract is a one-year deal with options to extend for additional years, with a total value exceeding $40 million.

The award was competitively bid and signifies the Navy’s continued satisfaction with IE Discovery’s performance, as 96% of Navy trial attorneys have indicated that IE Discovery’s service has met or exceeded their expectations. IE Discovery has served the Navy in various capacities for 16 years.

Under the terms of the agreement, IE Discovery will continue to provide a broad array of Discovery Management services, including preservation, collection, hosting and document review. The company will also provide consulting on best practices and litigation technology. “The award shows that the government has been pleased with our level of responsiveness and ability to meet deadlines. The NLO, with a staff of more than 30 attorneys, manages all litigation matters under the cognizance of the Navy’s Office of General Counsel. The office represents the Navy on significant cases brought before U.S. Federal Courts and the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals in areas including Federal procurement law, civilian personnel law, environmental law, and a variety of special litigation matters.
