PRLog - Nov. 23, 2010 - Launched in November 2010, Nativityapp is the creation of James Cooper, a UK based web designer who also runs the popular Christmas Information website http://www.whychristmas.com which celebrates 10 years online in Christmas 2010. The app is available at: http://nativityapp.com
This web app, is a website specifically designed for mobile devices and has three parts. You read the Christmas Story, all in one or in sections from a modern translation of the Bible. The Carols section can be used as an pocket and on the go 'Carol Sheet', very useful for some spontaneous carol singing or if you go to a Carol Service and don’t know the words. There is also a Fun section with games and puzzles including 'Make a Magi' where you can drag and drop items to make a custom ‘wise man’!
When James Cooper, the creator of the app, was asked why he made it he stated "The launch of Nativityapp is part of the 10th birthday celebrations for my large Christmas Information site. I wanted to make the Christmas Story - the real meaning of Christmas - easy to access for people on the move. There’s nothing like this on the Internet and by creating a Web App rather than an app in the iTunes store means it can be accessed, for free, by anyone in the world with access to the web, you don’t even need a clever phone, it also works on normal computers! I’ve had several comments about the Carols section. That seems to be very popular - having all the words to popular Christmas Carols in your pocket!"
To access the app, visit: http://nativityapp.com on your mobile device or desktop computer.
