Nov. 23, 2010 - PRLog -- The Bett awards are widely regarded to be the most highly esteemed in the e-learning industry, showcasing outstanding education sector products and learning solutions.

Winning the 2010 award recognised Learning Possibilities‟ work with Wolverhampton City Council around effective use of a learning platform and development of a maturity model for learning platform adoption, the ADOPT framework. The judges describing the partnership as one “based on shared values and an ethos of transforming education” and later in 2010, Becta published „Steps to Adoption‟, a learning platform adoption model based on the ADOPT framework.

Learning Possibilities have since aimed to build on this success to create a support and engagement model which utilises the LP+ platform and the ADOPT framework. Through close-working with Northamptonshire County Council and an enduring mutual commitment to building sustainable local learning communities, this aim has been realised. A rich collaboration portal has been developed allowing effective practice to be shared and a guide to aligning the ADOPT framework to the school SEF has been published allowing Northamptonshire schools to take the key actions and measures from the ADOPT framework to evidence how technology has been used to facilitate school improvement.

“By providing technology, tools, methodologies and intensive support, we have enabled schools in Northamptonshire to develop and share vision and expertise in how technologies might transform today‟s schools – and build tomorrow‟s approach to collegiate and collaborative learning communities,” said Dr Mehool Sanghrajka, CEO of the Learning Possibilities Group. “We are very proud of our work in education and the impact our technologies have on the lives of so many learners.”

The second award category in which Learning Possibilities are finalists is as the “ICT Company of the Year” following three years of sustained growth and international expansion. The CEO says he takes very seriously the responsibility of doing business in the education sector, “we realise that schools are going through an uncertain time and are keen to provide them with affordable technology solutions that are proven to make a real difference to raising standards.”
