Nov. 23, 2010 - PRLog -- Wood Green Animal Shelters is appealing to members of the public to keep their eyes and ears open for a nervous dog that went missing on Sunday afternoon (November 21).
Violet, a four-year-old Collie cross, went missing around the Kempston Retail Park area while with her foster family on Sunday and was last seen running into the woods.
The black and white dog, who doesn’t respond to her name, has a collar and lead on her and is microchipped.
A spokesperson for the charity said: “Violet will probably be very scared. We have left out food for Violet and set up a humane trap in the hope that we will be able to catch her and reunite her with her foster family, who have spent the last two days searching for her with the help of Wood Green staff.”
Anyone with information or sightings is urged to contact Wood Green on 0844 248 8181 or info@woodgreen.org.uk
