Nov. 23, 2010 - PRLog -- There is one thing that people love about Cape Cod is the sheer amount of activities that are water related.  There is an endless amount of things that you can do. But what people might want to know are what are the pick of the litter.

One of the key attractions of the island is whale watching here you can see.  It is here that you get a chance to see these majestic creatures in their natural habitat.  The type of whales that you will be able to see are the Minke whale, Humpback whale, Finback whale and Sei whale.  Province town is the main area for whale watching as there are several whale watching companies that do their trade there.  This is because it is at the tip of Cape Cod where the ocean spreads far and wide without land in sight.

But if that isn't for you then how about you take a more relaxing day and just lay on the beach with the calming oceans being your comforter.  There is the Cape Cod National Seashore that was officially sanctioned by the former US President John F. Kennedy.  This is a 40 mile stretch of sand and walking paths that also includes woods of the Atlantic coastal pine barrens.  This land preserves these woods and gives a unique beach experience as they feature on the beach front.

There is one thing that is recommended how about a cruise on one of the fantastic cruise ships that tour around the ocean.  Such as the water safari which is a river cruise that goes over the calm waters of the Bass River, Grand Cove, and Weir Creek on the Starfish.  The Bass River is a river that many believe Lief Ericson sailed up over a century ago.  This was one of Cape Cod's busiest commercial water ways as it had ties to European colonisation.  Nowadays you will that the river is a popular place filled with fishermen, animals like the s and pleasure boats that lie next some of the best Cape Cod rentals and summer homes in the state.

One of the other ways to see Cape Cod is by taking the unique Cape Cod Duckmobiles.  You get to ride on a specially converted military amphibious vehicle through the streets of Cape cod then you get to see the best that cape cod's ocean has to offer.  The tours last rough 45 minutes to an hour with time equally split for land and sea for the land lovers and sea urchins.  The vehicles are two that have been used in the second world war and the Vietnam war and have been completely restored and checked by the US Coast Guard so you know they are top quality condition.

There is also the Freedom Cruise line Ferry, that is the only ferry that will take you to the 'Grey Lady' Nantucket if you decide you want to see other parts of Massachusetts.  This is a part of the state that is perfect for a day trip.

There are many more activities that are popular here such as sport fishing where many companies will help you find the perfect fishing spots. Then there is Kayaking and canoeing and a load of other activities that show that There things to do on the waters of Cape Cod.
