The Music Room, located in downtown Palatine, isn’t going to sit back and wait for large retailers to gobble up sales of guitars, amps, and accessories on Black Friday. Instead they are fighting back with a Black Friday sale of their own. A Midnight Madness Sale beginning Thanksgiving at midnight and running through 2 a.m. Friday morning will be launched for the first time this year.
“We’re ready to compete,” said Co-owner John Giovannoni. “We want people to know that we’ve got some incredible deals on Fender Guitars, Mesa Boogie amplifiers, Bedell guitars and professional tube amps, to name a few.” Many of the deals can be found on the company’s website (http://www.the-music-room.net
), but items must be purchased in-store. Some sale items are available in limited quantities.
“We carry a wide range of quality guitars, band instruments and amps, and with our experienced staff we are able to help guide customers through their purchasing decision,” added Co-owner Carol Cook. The Music Room also carries popular brands such as G&L, Line 6, Ibanez and Washburn.
Now in its 16th year, The Music Room (http://www.the-
