Twisted Technologies wins Medisoft Consultant of the Year!

Nov. 19, 2010 - PRLog -- (Atlanta, GA) McKesson hosted its annual Summit for Physician Practice Solutions consisting of over 300 VARs of Medisoft, Lytec and Practice Partner and awarded Kennesaw-based Twisted Technologies with Medisoft Consultant of the Year.  Twisted Technologies ( http://www.twistedtechnologies.com ) was nominated by their Medisoft peers from around the country for their technical input and collaboration with others.  Twisted Technologies is entering their 11th year in business and are Medisoft Platinum Resellers and Microsoft Gold Partners.

    The award was presented onstage by GM David Henricksen and McKesson VP Pat Blake.  McKesson is a Fortune 14 company invested in providing leading Practice Management software and ARRA certified EMR/EHR solutions for practices seeking stimulus funding.  Twisted Technologies is owned by Mark Mancini, a chiropractor and member of Medisoft's VAB (VAR Advisory Board) which helps provide input to the direction of Medisoft and Medisoft Clinical and beta tests new releases, including Version 17 to be released in early December 2010.

    The current Medisoft and Lytec EMR/EHR promotion includes a $500 gift card to be used for an iPad or an iPhone and a free version of iOfficeHours ( http://www.iofficehours.com ) which is the first iPhone app for Medisoft and Lytec.  iOfficeHours allows doctors to view their schedule and make appointments from anywhere quickly and securely.  This compliments the other offerings from their suite of products WeHaveAppsForThat which can be found at http://www.WeHaveAppsForThat.com and features other items such as TTScanner, Medisignin, Medicheckin, TTEligibility Powered by GatewayEDI, and the soon to be released Medidialer.

    This marks the third award Twisted Technologies has received in 4 years as a Medisoft reseller.  Previously they were awarded Rookie of the Year and Technologist of the Year.  This year's Consultant of the Year was for contributions to the product line along with sharing knowledge and help to other resellers and partnering with companies such as Tri Med Solutions and AZComp Technologies rather than competing against them.  Twisted Technologies has partnered with JBS of Central Florida for almost four years.  President Mark Mancini feels, "partnering with other VARs of the same product should be better embraced and not viewed as competition as we are competing against other software products, not each other."  McKesson's theme of "Collaboration" at this year's summit featured motivation speaker and Eco-Challange winner Robyn Benincasa on TEAMWORK.

    Twisted Technologies is about to launch two new training sites for users of Medisoft Practice Management and McKesson's Medisoft Clinical, LytecMD, and Practice Partner.  Mark Mancini has partnerered with Aimee Heckman of ASH Business and JBS to develop an online training center for Medisoft available 24/7/365 called Online Learning, LLC and http://www.learnmedisoft.com which will be launched with the release of Medisoft Version 17.  Aimee has been doing training videos for several years and was employed by Medisoft as their trainer, bringing her wealth of knowledge and industry respect along with her.  Mark has also partnered with Bart Segal of Tri Med Solutions to do the same thing but for the EMR/ EHR side of McKesson's products.  Bart has deep experience with larger practices and specializes in pediatric and podiatry groups.  Mark's chiropractic background make for a well rounded perspective on this ancillary product to help doctors successfully implement their shif off of paper charts.

    Twisted Technologies other key offerings besides Medisoft and Medisoft Clinical include Fonality based VoIP from Trixbox, Kaseya Managed Services, Data Recovery, Web hosting and design, and IT support.
