Hi-Fi Equipment - Open Day Wednesday 1st December

Nov. 19, 2010 - PRLog -- For all of you out there who often browse online hi fi equipment suppliers and wonder what it would be like to meet the suppliers, see the products and generally surround yourself with the latest hi fi systems, hi fi accessories and home cinema systems you may be in luck.

Hi-Fi Excellence Ltd, HIFIX is opening its doors to the general public, with over 20 years of experience in the online retailing and mail order hi-fi niche you do not want to miss out on this event.

“In the reception area, you’ll hear an Arcam hi-fi playing music being streamed wirelessly to the
Arcam R-DAC, playing through an Arcam A38 amplifier and through a pair of KEF Q300 loudspeakers.

‘Over the bridge’, the Diverse Vinyl boys will be displaying plenty of vinyl new and old, and will
be able to take orders for any upcoming releases too.

Behind them, Michell Engineering will be showing their usual beautiful turntables – the Michell
TecnoDec, Gyro SE and Orbe SE. Hopefully we’ll also have on display the extremely limited edition
GyroDec SEduction – I’m just waiting on confirmation.

In the same area, the KEF Concept Blade loudspeakers will be on demo with amplification
from Electrocompaniet being fed from the Michell turntables.

Up the stairs to our main AV demo room, JVC will be showing their new DILA 3D home
cinema projectors – the X3 and X7, and demonstrating the difference between the two new
models.

Outside, Sonos will be showing their S5 Zoneplayer,, the WD100 wireless iPod dock,
and the ZP120 with a pair of KEF Q100 loudspeakers. They’ll also be demonstrating their
new shiny iPad app!

On the main floor on the top floor, A pair of KEF Reference 207/2′s will be playing, driven by
the new Cyrus Mono X300 monoblock power amplifier, DAC XP+ digital pre-amplifier,
and CDXTse+ digital transport.

The top floor AV demo room will be home to Arcam showing their new high definition
BDT100 Bluray player which can be viewed through a Mitsubishi HC7000 home cinema projector.
The AVR500 Av amplifier will be providing sounds through KEF’s new slimline T305 speaker
package.

In the top floor hi-fi demo room, KEF’s long awaited flagship Q900 loudspeakers will be driven
by a pair of Cyrus X200 monoblock power amplifiers, a DAC XP+ digital pre-amplifier, and a
CDXTse+ digital transport.”
