How does GN 500GPM system work? (I). System assembly 1. The centrifugal pump, mud agitator, jet mud mixer, lighting system, and walkway can be fixed steadily when transfer the system, guard rails can be disassembled when transfer. While transfer the guard rails should disassembly the support pole then let it down and transfer tank along with guard rails. When the system arrive at job site, walkway should be installed stably firstly. Then install GNZS83-3 Shale shaker, and GNZJ83-3 Mud cleaner subsequently. 2. Connect all pipelines and make them fixed well 3. Operate the system contrary to its instructions is strictly prohibited. The lift device must hang the tank by the lift rings on tank bottom. Lift the tank by hanging any pipelines or equipments on the tank is extremely prohibited. (II)Operation instruction All of valves are closed when the system delivered to clients. The user must operate it according to following processes: http://www.gn- Firstly, when the system arrive at site, user should place, connect, install, configure the system subject to the actual condition. Since the system is just a part of the drilling mud purification system, its main purpose is purification, mixing the drilling fluids but not storing the drilling mud. User should connect this system with outlet of drilling rig bracket and prepare one storage tank or mud pit to contain drilling mud for supplying mud to the drilling rig. (III)Recycling drilling mud Firstly, the drilling mud will be pumped from mud pit by 100YZ100-30. The mud will flow through 4” hose to GNZS83-3. Mud processed by shale shaker we called first stage solids control. After processed by shale shaker the drilling fluids flow into 1# compartment; Drilling mud is pumped by 1# pump and under 0.2~0.35 Mpa pressure flow to desander of GNZJ83-3.This is beginning of 2nd stage solids control. After above processing the mud will flow into 2# compartment through overflow pipe. Then we get 2# centrifugal pump started. The mud should be pumped from 2# compartment to desilter (At this occasion the mud is under 0.2~0.35Mpa) (IV) Mud mixing instruction Before configuring drilling mud all valves should be closed. When mix the drilling mud firstly we need to input sufficient water to mixing compartment then open 5” butterfly valve, which connected with 3#SB5×4-14 pump inlet. Then the 4” butterfly valve connected with output (or the input on the venture hopper of jet mud mixer); Then start centrifugal pump, when the pump operated well open butterfly valve at the input of jet mud mixer. Then feed the mud material gradually. http://www.gnsolidscontrol.com/ We must feed the drilling mud materials evenly, should not be quick now, while slow then. After finishing configuration stop feeding and clean the input platform and hopper. Close 6” butterfly valve under the hopper. After sand pump running 2 minutes stop it also close valves at pump input and outlet. If still need configuration must operate it according to above instructions strictly. IV.
