Goodwill Grill Fired Up for Hope Animal Rescues

Nov. 18, 2010 - PRLog -- On Sat.,  Nov. 6, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Dave Mungenast Alton Toyota Scion will be firing up its charitable Goodwill Grill™ to support Hope Animal Rescues.  Hot dogs are free to the public, and the group will receive $1 for each hot dog given away during the event.

Hope Animal Rescues is a nonprofit organization with a mission to treat animals with dignity. Hope rescues animals who are being abused mentally and physically, promote spay and neutering and advocate stopping the use of gas chambers.

Proceeds from the Goodwill Grill will go toward their holiday fundraiser goal of $20,000.

Hope Animal Rescues was founded in November of 2005 in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Today they are a 501c3 non-profit corporation. Hope is a volunteer based rescue that works with local animal controls to rescue pets on their last day of life and place them in foster homes until a forever home can be found for them.
