Hooch Bag
The Hooch Bag has a personal story as well, it was inspired by Hero Bags designer and founder Susanne Pierce Maddux’s Grandmother Ruby.
Maddux says, “My Grandmother Ruby was a resourceful woman of Appalachian descent who married an American Industrialist. As the story goes grandma Ruby would send a driver out to the old neighborhood to fetch a few bottles of ‘the good stuff’ every once and a while and sneak it back home. I loved this story and when I was designing the Hooch Bag I kept that in mind. I think Grandma Ruby would have liked this bag.
