Changes To The Pmp® Exam

PRLog (Press Release) - Nov. 18, 2010 - DPM International, was recently notified of the changes to the PMP® Exam to be effected August 31, 2011. This change was as a result of a Role Delineation Study (RDS) that revealed the vast change in the roles of project managers today. The PMP® Exam will change to provide an adaptable assessment to the changing knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for students to perform competently.

How will the Exam be different?
According to PMI the PMP® Exam will change by 30% and the professional and social responsibility content area (Domain 6) will now be tested in every domain rather than on a separate domain on the examination.

So what should you do if you are taking the PMP® Exam before August 31, 2011?
PMP® Exam Prep – There are two scheduled PMP® Exams before August 31, 2011: March 9 and July 17, 2011. DPM International will deliver our PMP® Exam Prep courses using currently available non-updated material prior to these two exams. For the November 19, 2011 PMP® Exam the Prep classes and material used by DPM International to prepare students to pass the exam will be updated to accommodate the scheduled changes, thus as customary maintaining quality standards and our PASS GUARANTEE!

Self Study – Anyone planning to sit the exam before August 31, 2011 should continue to use currently available material distributed by DPM International; the updated version of the prep system will also be available for purchase after August 31, 2011 for persons self-prepping for the November 19, 2011 Exam.
