Barrett’s Campaign Launch Their Christmas 2010 Raffle To Raise Money For Barrett’s Oesophagus

Nov. 17, 2010 - PRLog -- Cancer of the oesophagus (gullet) is now the western world's most rapidly increasing cancer and is especially common in the UK where it kills more people than die from road accidents.

It is set to triple in the next 10-20 years when it will be one of the most common cancers in the UK (it is currently number five).

We are trying to raise at least £10,000 for the Barrett's Oesophagus Campaign.

Barrett's Oesophagus Campaign, founded in 1999, is the only national charity dedicated to the prevention of cancer from Barrett's oesophagus (a common condition that uncommonly leads to cancer), and the support of people living with the condition.

Please help us to develop these support services which are so crucial to the amelioration of the condition of sufferers.

Please buy some raffle tickets (tickets £1 each or a book of 10 for £10). Each ticket purchased will help us reach our goal which is to make a real difference to sufferers of cancer of the gullet by promoting and enabling medical research, and by supporting patients with this condition, their families and friends.
