Polow Da Don hosts 4th Annual Thanksgiving Festival with Chris Brown, Keri Hilson, Lloyd and others

Nov. 16, 2010 - PRLog -- On Tuesday, November 23, 2010, Atlanta bred super-producer Polow da Don and co-founder of Foundation F.O.C.U.S. along with Mia A. Welsh, (General Manager of Zone 4, Inc. and co-founder of Foundation F.O.C.U.S.) are gearing up once again to give back to the community with their 4th Annual Thanksgiving Carnival and turkey giveaway. This year’s event will take place at Southwest Atlanta’s Greenbriar Mall from 4pm-10pm. Participants will enjoy free rides, games, food, a 1,000-turkey giveaway, a chance to enter the “Free Rent For A Year” Contest and celebrity appearances and performances from superstar Chris Brown, Zone 4 artists Keri Hilson, Lloyd and many more.

Zone 4 and Foundation F.O.C.U.S. have teamed up with Ludacris’ imprint DTP and The Ludacris Foundation to make this year’s event unforgettable. “We are grateful to be in a position to give back to those who are in need of our support and we look forward to this Thanksgiving initiative becoming a staple in the community for years to come,” says Mia Welsh. “We are humbled by the outpouring of love and support we’ve received from Luda’s camp and hope that people walk away with a true understanding of the importance of giving.”

Last year’s event was a huge success with a giveaway of over 750 turkeys to needy families and featured the “Free Rent for a Year” contest where one very lucky family walked away with their rent paid for one full year by Polow da Don and Zone 4. The 3rd Annual Thanksgiving Carnival included performances and appearances from Keri Hilson, Rich Boy, Monica, Waka Flocka, Fonzworth Bentley and BET’s Terrence J. “My dream is to bring an amazing experience to kids in my community as they may never experience a production of this magnitude. It’s going to be incredible,” says Polow.
