Moss & Associates To Redevelop Palm Beach Publix

Nov. 16, 2010 - PRLog -- PALM BEACH Fla., November 10, 2010 – Moss & Associates, one of Florida’s largest construction management companies, was recently awarded a redevelopment project for Publix Super Markets for the existing store located at 265 Sunset Avenue in Palm Beach.  The replacement store is scheduled to begin early 2011 and be completed by the end of that year.

“This is an unique project in that the scope of work includes extensive finishes and a high level of detail for the façade to the 45,000 square foot store. The store must be completed in an established neighborhood on the island by coordinating an accelerated schedule in order to meet the communities needs for reopening and minimize the impact to the community,” said Vice President, Guy Reese of Moss & Associates.

Moss has worked closely with the Lakeland based, grocery chain giant on nine (9) projects over the past six (6) years in delivering redevelopment projects throughout the South Florida market.  “Redevelopments” are stores that go “dark” or offline with no immediate or local support of another existing store.  Hence the urgency from Publix to expedite the project and limit the impact to the surrounding communities.  Moss has been able to deliver these projects ahead of schedule, in most cases, and is the preferred builder for Publix for these high exposure projects.
