Non-Traditionalist Wins Award

Nov. 16, 2010 - PRLog -- PHOENIX, AZ  – Stephanie Angelo, SPHR was awarded the Arizona Coalition Against Domestic Violence (AZCADV) 2010 Desert Sun Flower award for Allies.  This award honors a group or person’s non-traditional involvement in the movement to end domestic violence.

Angelo pioneered a process that translates domestic abuse to determine the financial impact on organizations.  Her work saves US companies $7.9 M in lost workdays alone each year.  Angelo’s comprehensive and strategic process yields long-term results.  
Angelo states, “Lost workdays and lost productivity are known as the biggest siphons of corporate profitability we have. These siphons usually are created by things that are happening outside the workplace. The smallest changes have the biggest results, and employers are in the unique position to make those changes.”
