Following Appearing on “Dr. Phil,” Television Personality, Dr. Leigh-Davis, Signs with New Agent

Nov. 16, 2010 - PRLog -- Although making a comedic turn, of late, Dr. Leigh-Davis is sincere about becoming an omnipresent legal analyst.  Only months ago, Dr. Leigh-Davis announced that she would be setting aside other endeavors, to concentrate more time on her broadcast journalism career, and her work as a legal analyst.  Therefore, many were surprised to see Dr. Leigh-Davis not only doing a stand-up comedy act, but also, appearing on the “Dr. Phil” television show as a, (somewhat comedic,) relationship advisor.  Yesterday, Dr. Leigh-Davis clarified, “Being a law professor is first and foremost, then my work as a legal analyst.  These other endeavors just came about, and I said yes.  I think any broadcast journalist can benefit from comedy training; it keeps you own your feet; sharpens your improvisational skills; and keeps things entertaining.”

Clearly, Dr. Leigh-Davis is serious about her career as a legal analyst and legal commentator, because she just signed an exclusive contract with television news talent agency, DB & Associates.  DB & Associates exclusively represents broadcast journalist.  “In addition to my legal background, my forte is hosting all types of television shows.  I currently host ‘Los Angeles Philanthropic Endeavors,’ ” added Dr. Leigh-Davis.  Happily, following Dr. Leigh-Davis’ appearance on the “Dr. Phil” television show, where she denounced men doing housework, she was not ambushed by, the usual, hate mail from female viewers.  “Either more women are agreeing with me, or they are just realizing we can agree to disagree,” commented Dr. Leigh-Davis.

Dr. Leigh-Davis’ forthcoming book, “Evil Things Women Do,” will be available in December.   In addition to being a law professor, Dr. Leigh-Davis is a popular media personality who has a weekly radio talk show; writes for several syndicated newspaper columns; and regularly appears on television as a legal analyst and legal correspondent.
