First of all, I need to say I didn't like flash at all. I always felt flash would makes unnatural lightings, especially the built-in flash. But after few shooting in the low light situation, even with ISO 6400, the image is still blurry and of course, the noise level is just unacceptable for me. So I got this flash, and I have to say it was the best decision I've made for this camera (canon 60D).
The flash is versatile and powerful. in most of the indoor situation, the flash can bounce off the wall and ceiling easily, that creates very natural soft light. And it's bright enough to allow the ISO to drop to 400 or even 200 depend on how bright it is. Which will end up very sharp and clean image!
You are also not limited to the light source in the scene, when you have the flash, you create the light source (by where you bounce the light), even if you're not, you can always use this simply as a fill.
Lastly, it supports ETTLII, so for quite a few cameras including my 60D, you can use this flash wirelessly (you can use it with a the base it provides, the base also can be mount on a tri-pod)
my only minor complain is that the buttons are a bit shallow, makes it a bit hard to press sometime, I really have to use the tip of my finger nail to press it. But still, this flash is simply awesome. I highly recommend it!
