Nov. 15, 2010 - PRLog -- There is a Yoga Revolution going on, and it’s all about Kids! Casey loves teaching yoga to kids, her own inner child shines through as they are learning fun games and poses and bringing on peace though practice!

Yoga is more popular now than every before and our kids are starting to take notice. These days we are in dire need of yoga, due to the increasing speed of our lives and stressful changes that we face.  With these challenging economic times we are looking for ways to be sustainable in our careers, financially, being healthy and connected as a community.  Casey has created an amazing training to help you be a part of the yoga revolution.

As Mahatma Gandhi says “We must be the change we wish to see in the world”. Kids are powerfully impacted their parents and their teachers.  With this in mind, Casey’s training is just the solution. “The Secret to Teaching Kids Yoga in 3 Easy Steps” is a valuable program that will create more peace for kids, parents, schoolteachers’ lives and eventually all being, especially future generations. This program is an online yoga program that you can learn at your own pace. Music is an important part of this practice… more on that later.

When kids practice yoga on their mats, they learn valuable tools to bring yoga into their daily lives. Kids laugh more, share the yoga poses, and as they practice being trees or dogs, they embody being one with everything.  Many women benefit from yoga practice while they are pregnant and it’s a natural process to continue and do baby yoga, which reduces fussiness, then toddler yoga, which helps lessen tantrums, and kids yoga. Yoga is a great year long, non-competitive physical activity for kids of all ages. Family Yoga is a great way for everyone to be involved, incorporating poses into fun games and creating activates that everyone can enjoy together. Yoga really is for all ages and is a great platform for introducing children to peaceful possibilities when challenges appear.

Casey believes it’s important to incorporate music into her Kids Yoga classes. Playing fun, upbeat, motivating and powerfully peaceful music can bring people together. "Music is one way for young people to connect with themselves, but it is also a bridge for connecting with others. Through music, we can introduce children to the richness and diversity of the human family and to the myriad rhythms of life." Daniel A. Carp, Eastman Kodak Company Chairman and CEO.

Casey was thrilled to find the Yoga Revolution CD series, created by Music producer Frank Fitzpatrick,“The first CD in the Yoga Revolution series features an incredible mix of original songs by well-known pop stars, such as Sarah McLachlan, Sting, Sheryl Crow, and Michael Franti... and many more.  and international recording artists, all brought together to promote the benefits of yoga, music and a healthy and balanced lifestyle and to support yoga and fitness.  Net proceeds go to Youth Health Alliance, a non-profit that provides yoga, academic, and health programs for under served elementary and middle school students around the country.”
