Surgical Science Inc. expands with the addition of Layne Shapiro, Sales and Implmentation Specialist

Nov. 15, 2010 - PRLog -- Minneapolis (USA) - Surgical Science, the leading developer of high-quality Virtual Reality simulation technology for the Assessment, Training and Certification of medical professionals, has added Layne Shapiro as Sales and Implementation Specialist.  

Layne is responsible for developing educational & strategic training programs, sales of the portfolio of products, as well as working with customers on increasing their utilization and implementation of the Surgical Science technologies within the Americas.

Layne brings over 6 years of scientific sales and marketing experience. Before joining Surgical Science, Layne worked as a strategic marketing consultant for STINSON Brand Innovation, where she developed branding and marketing strategies for health, science and technology clients. Prior to STINSON, she worked in business development for Young Innovations, which manufactures and markets medical and dental surgical instruments and equipment, and as a development coordinator for Children’s Memorial Hospital of Chicago.

Layne has a MBA from National Louis University, Chicago, and a BS in Biology from University of Wisconsin, Madison.
