Thirteen local businesses in Fulton had contributed to a bike prize fund for the event, and the remaining proceeds were donated to the VFW Post.
"We were pleased to be able to do something to honor soldiers who have sacrificed so much for our country,” explained agency owner Cale Schorer, whose office is located at 47 South 1st Street in Fulton. “
Other participating businesses were Redneck RC, Integrity Realty, Canal View Travel, Serenity Tanning & Aqua Massage, Nationwide Insurance, CNY Jewelry Exchange, Kathy's Cakes, Uniforms Etc., The Lock Restaurant, Ellen Ladd/Small Business Services, FTS (Fulton Typewriter Supply) and the employees of Dollar General and Empire Vision.
