Nov. 14, 2010 - PRLog -- Now is an ideal time for new London IT businesses to be formed and start to grow, one such company has been formed by film industry mum Veronica Marcano (Harry Potter, Narnia) who realised the importance of media rich websites.
Initially it seemed that her artistic film job skills might not be transferable to a company that would suit a ‘London Silicon Valley ‘company, but this is far the truth as internet design has changed enormously over the last few years, and web design is now on a par with film studio design.
Beautiful Websites
Early websites were built by male orientated technical specialists, artistic women seemed to be left out of the loop. This has now changed due to new web design methodologies, Veronica uses Drupal which is  the content management system used by The White House, MTV.co.uk and The Economist.
Due to Veronica’s artistic background, her sites are undoubtedly amongst the most beautiful on the internet and examples are
www.inspiredbuildingservices.com
www.pulslightclinic.co.uk
www.nutritionalessence.com
Veronica’s company is already showing the green shoots of growth and so her new web design company  www.SEOCompany4.com will be well placed for a slot on London’s IT ‘Silicon Valley’, providing state of the art web design for both new companies and established companies who are finding their websites need more than just updating.
Web design and SEO
Many website designers in the past found their sites did not get on to page one of search engines like Google. The reasons for this are simple, search engines index  websites that are both search engine friendly and popular. To make their websites appear on page one, some web site designers tried to fool Google into thinking they were popular by making lots of spam, typically blogs and behaving un ethically.
Not being a typical computer coder, Veronica and her team are active in social networking and have very active circles on Facebook, Twitter and their own blogs and so the beautifully designed sites are popular and are well placed by search engines. Veronica realised the synergy between web design and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)  and formed for SEOCompany4. Why the 4? It was the 4th name she thought of.
As with many other new businesses, the key is finding a gap in the market. In the current age of social networking, the gap appears to be a marriage of technical home workers with a designer look and feel. Frequently this gap is being filled by female led design agencies such as Veronica’s.

SEOCompany4 was formed after the recession and creates beautiful websites based on the Open Source content management system Drupal.
The company strategy is to bring beautiful websites to the ordinary business on the street, by taking out the technical complexity. Using the power and speed of the Drupal admin system, frees up resource to concentrate clean design led sites that are easy to read navigate and publicise.
