It’s As Canadian As…golf??

Houston Aeros & Canadian Club of Houston Tee Off For Children’s Charities

Nov. 12, 2010 - PRLog -- The Houston Aeros and the Canadian Club of Houston (CCoH) are trading their hockey sticks for putters this fall to help bring smiles to the faces of deserving children in our city.  The first annual Canucks & Pucks Golf Classic will match golfing foursomes with a “celebrity player” from the Houston Aeros team, and will give fans a chance to find out if the players are as good on the greens as they are on the ice.

“Canadians and hockey make a perfect partnership,” notes tournament chair and CCoH Director Kim LeDonne.  “We couldn’t be more excited to be combining hockey, Canadians, golf and charity.  This will be something Houston’s never seen before.”

Proceeds will benefit Bo’s Place and the Houston Aeros Tickets for Kids Program.  Bo’s Place is a bereavement center offering grief support services to children and their families who have experienced the death of a child or an adult in their immediate family.

The tournament takes place Monday, November 29th at Wildcat Golf Course.  Tickets include brunch, range balls, dinner, prize presentation and a silent auction, not to mention a round of golf with a Houston Aero (scramble format).  Individual golfer tickets can be purchased for $145, foursomes for $500.  CCoH members and Aeros Season Ticket Holders can purchase individual tickets for $115 and foursomes for $400.

Tickets can be purchased online at http://www.canadianclubofhouston.org.  Aeros Season Ticket holders please contact Josh Young at 713-361-7937 for your discount promotion code.  Not a Season Ticket holder?  Call Josh Young to purchase.
