The designation is granted after an educational program consisting of learning terminology, different financial planning product categories and general planning concepts. The certification focuses on providing practical knowledge of the financial planning industry, including the major areas of financial planning: the financial planning process, personal financial statements, time value of money, insurance, investments, tax planning, retirement planning, and estate planning.
“Continuing education is an important part of our business and how we continue to expand the value that each employee brings to our firm and clients,” stated Kappy Gross, CFP, CLU, ChfC, Financial Planner with CFS. “We are excited that as a result of earning these credentials, Sara, will be able to provide an enhanced depth of service to our clients.”
Sara joined Bob Snidow and Kappy Gross’ team at CFS in August of 2008 and assists with financial planning and portfolio management. Sara previously obtained her Series 7, Series 66, and Life & Health License and is a graduate of Longwood University.
