Exotic Car Enthusiasts to Caravan to So Cal Toys R Us to Buy Toys for Kids

Nov. 11, 2010 - PRLog -- WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. -- On Sunday, November 21st at 10 am, a caravan of more than 100 exotic and collectible automobiles will travel with a full police escort a quarter mile from the parking lot at Westfield Promenade in Warner Center  (6100 Topanga Canyon Boulevard) to the Toys R Us at 6245 North Topanga Canyon Boulevard to kick off the 7th Annual Motor 4 Toys Charitable Car Show.
         The caravan will include a wide variety of vehicles including Ferraris, Lamborghinis, hot rods, muscle cars and more.
         The owners of these cars along with the LAPD police officers will fill the store to purchase thousands of dollars worth of new toys.  The “carloads” of  toys  will be among the approximately 50,000 that will be collected at the annual car show, which takes place Sunday, December 5th, 6:30 am to noon in the   parking lot of the Anthem/Blue Cross building located at 2155 Oxnard Street in Woodland Hills. The event is free to the public, which is asked to make a donation of a new unwrapped toy valued at $10 or more.  More than 15,000 people are expected to attend.
         Motor 4 Toys is the largest car show of its kind in the world, with more than 5,000 exotic, classic, vintage and collectible automobiles expected to be on display including 20 vehicles each valued at more than $1 million.  Motor 4 Toys attracts car clubs from all over the Western United States.  Among the cars on display will be the world's fastest street legal sports cars and rare limited production vehicles such as  the Bugatti Veyron Grandsport, Ferrari F40, Lamborghini Reventon,  McLaren F1, and the Pagazni Zonda; armored law enforcement vehicles; custom muscle cars; vintage Formula I and Le Mans race cars.
         The brainchild of local auto enthusiast Dustin Troyan, Motor 4 Toys brings together auto enthusiasts in an effort  to collect toys for local underprivileged children to open during the Holidays, Motor 4 Toys is now the single largest donor of toys to any charitable toy donation program in the United States collecting in its first six years approximately 100,000 toys with an aggregate value in excess of $1 million. The toys are distributed to various Southern California charitable organizations by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Los Angeles Police Department and California Highway Patrol.
