Unlike previous liquid-based versions, the new Generation V topicals are dispensed through a proprietary and highly potent liposome-like micro-foam delivery system.  Broadly speaking the new Trichoceutical products have been optimized to achieve higher levels of scalp penetration, scalp coverage, and uptake of the key active ingredients into the hair follicle.  This is salient inasmuch as the more efficient the delivery of the therapeutic bolus, the greater the potential for clinical improvement.  

Product by product, the relevant changes are as follows:

HairGenesis® Topical Activator Serum will henceforth be referred to as Maximum Strength Trichoceutical® Activator Serum.  The word "Trichoceutical" is a USPTO registered trademark of the parent company for HairGenesis® and describes the new liposome-like micro-foaming delivery system which will be employed across the line starting with the Generation V formulas.  The Generation V Serum is dispensed in a new 1.7 oz / 50 mL bottle.  Not only is the Generation V Serum more potent, but compared with the previous version, approximately 50% more product is available on a unit by unit basis.  

Like the Serum, the new Shampoo carries the Trichoceutical nomenclature and is called HairGenesis® Maximum Strength Trichoceutical Activating Shampoo.  Scalp coverage and hair follicle penetration is also enhanced with this new product.  Contained in a 7 oz / 207 mL bottle, and designed to be used approximately every other day, the new Shampoo is a highly potent companion to the Trichoceutical® Serum.  Preliminary data suggests that the Generation V treatment regimen tends to achieve improved clinical results even more quickly than previous versions of the HairGenesis® line.  

Finally, the new Conditioner is now referred to as Maximum Strength Trichoceutical Activating Conditioner.  Intended for use just two to three times weekly, this high potency conditioning product protects hair against unwanted breakage and works to revitalize damaged hair follicles. When used in combination, Generation V HairGenesis® constitutes a formidable hair revitalizing treatment system.
