6th Annual Polar Bears vs. Penguins Event Kicks Off Paintball Season at Top Gun Paintball

Nov. 11, 2010 - PRLog -- Top Gun Paintball is preparing for its annual event, Polar Bear vs. Penguins on Sunday, January 23rd at its Cream Ridge facility, next door to Great Adventure.

Seen by many as the unofficial kickoff of the paint ball season, the Polar Bears vs. Penguins event is heading into its 6th annual incarnation. The special event features reduced rates to play paintball, free air refills and is a great way for beginners and people who have never played paintball introduced to the sport, as well seasoned players who enjoy the excitement of a great day of paintball fun.

The event is designed to increase interest in the sport, by allowing inexperienced players to join in a large-scale, “Big Game-style” event where they can be part of the action. Many first-time players, newcomers and curiosity seekers use Polar Bears vs. Penguins to get more familiar with the game, the techniques of paintball battle and the sport’s equipment.

“We want to encourage new paintball players or perhaps the person who received their first paintball gun for Christmas to come out to Top Gun and compete in a fun event meant for paintball beginners and experienced players,” said Carl Atkins, of Top Gun Paintball. “The Polar Bears vs. Penguins game is the perfect way to start the 2011 season or just get an introduction to paintball,” he said.

Participants can register online at the Top Gun web site, http://www.topgunpaintball.com. Prepaid admission is only $30, which includes free air fills throughout the day.

Those unable to register ahead of time may register on the day of the event for $35. Cases of field paint will also be available, $70 pre-paid and $75 on the day of the event.
 
Added this year is a special offer of “Pre-Play” on Saturday, the day before the Big Game. Come in, fill out your paper work and stay and play in the Open class game for the rest of the day.  Experience two great days of awesome adventure for less than the price of one.

Players without their own equipment are always welcome to join in the fun. Hundreds of guns and goggles are available for rental or sale at at Top Gun.
