New Way Day Services, Inc. is pleased to announce the opening of our new ABA Therapy Center in Doral

PRLog (Press Release) - Nov. 10, 2010 - New Way Day Services is dedicated to enriching the lives of our patients and their families with the evidence-based procedures of Applied Behavior Analysis. We have been successful in improving the quality of life of our patients by utilizing the many facets of behavior analysis such as Decelerative Procedures, Verbal Behavior Therapy, Natural Environment Teaching, Discrete Trial Training, Social Skills Training and Parent Training.

New Way Day Services, Inc. has opened an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy center in the City of Doral located at 3900 NW 79 Avenue, Suite 501, Doral, FL 33166.  The center will be open Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 8:00 pm and Saturdays from 8:00 am – 12:00 noon.

The Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy (ABA) approach teaches social, motor and verbal behaviors as well as reasoning skills.  This treatment is effective in teaching behaviors to children with Developmental Disabilities including Autism, Pervasive Developmental Delay, Down Syndrome, and other related disabilities.  ABA uses direct behavioral observation, positive reinforcement and prompting to teach each step of a desired behavior.  ABA therapy is a one-to-one intensive therapy given in the home setting as well as some center-based therapy.

In addition, New Way Day Services, Inc. offers community training in CPR for Families and Friends from the American Heart Association.
