Former retired Atlanta Urban League President, Lyndon A. Wade who served as the agency's chief executive officer for more than 32 years, is among the 2010 honorees and will be presented with the Legacy Award. The 2010 Equal Opportunity Award honorees are civil rights trailblazers Dr. Joseph E. and Mrs. Evelyn G. Lowery Other honorees include, State Farm Insurance Company, Lucy Hall-Gainer of Mary Hall Freedom House, Inc. and Jae Brown of the Atlanta Urban League Young Professionals. “I am elated that The Atlanta Urban League is honoring me with this special recognition,” Several of Atlanta’s top companies are supporting this year’s dinner.
