KEMA Quality Announces ISO Certification of Delaware Valley Industrial Resource Center

Nov. 10, 2010 - PRLog -- Following the guidelines of an accredited certification process KEMA Quality verified, through an assumption audit at surveillance that Delaware Valley Industrial Resource Center (DVIRC) is following the ISO 9001 requirements. Therefore; the company will continue to be certified through KEMA Quality. DVIRC demonstrated that they have a fully implemented Quality Management System and that they are following all of the requirements to be in compliance with the standard.

Ms. Monica Dent, of DVIRC, stated that “the audit was very good, and the transition was successful.” She also stated that “the DVIRC will benefit from the partnership”.

KEMA Quality is an ANAB Accredited Certification Body that has a major presence in the United States, and internationally through our parent company DEKRA Industrial.

The DVIRC is part of Pennsylvania’s Industrial Resource Network, a program funded by the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED). The Centers are private, not-for-profit economic development corporations supported by the Commonwealth and managed by private industry. DCED has also been instrumental in helping the IRC Network compete for, and win, federal MEP awards, which are part of The National Institute of Standards and Technology’s (NIST) Manufacturing Extension Partnership program.
