Tara Bradberry, Longwood's Marketing Manager said: "Thanks to the changeover the online booking process has been streamlined and made more user-friendly with a host of new features."
The made-to-measure booking engine, launched on 5 November, now features a live availability search on the home page and on resort home pages. Bradberry continued: “The new booking engine allows for more accurate bookings, with various room types and child prices available at a glance. It also enables users to book hotels only online (excluding Taba, Taba Heights & Nuweiba).” Prices can be seen throughout the booking process and there is no need to input passenger names to see the final price.
Advanced search options are a useful addition, enabling users to pre-select features particularly important to them, for example SPA or sport facilities, family friendliness or the location on the beach. Moreover, the Add-ons section has added content to help choose the right diving and golf options.
All Longwood bookings will now be documented by email - invoices, vouchers or flight tickets will no longer be printed and sent by post, saving a few trees in the long run.
