Bird Watching in Borneo Ranked as an Essential Skill

Islands Magazine compiled a list of essential skills to make the most of a traveling trip. Bird watching in Borneo, Malaysia ranked tenth on the list.

Nov. 8, 2010 - PRLog -- Islands describes bird watching as an activity that allows people to take a moment to observe and appreciate the natural world. “As you do that, you’ll notice the world becoming a more beautiful place right before your eyes,” advises Islands. “Birds let you grasp nature’s subtlety and power.”

When choosing a destination for bird watching, travelers should consider the number of endemic species to be seen, the beauty of the Island, or other adventure activities to be experienced, according to Islands. “Or go to Borneo and have it all.” Malaysia has emerged as a bird watching haven with more than 700 species to see.
