About the Author: Cary Vincent based this story on his own real-life experiences. Back in the 1960s, he booked The Rolling Stones to play a church hall for £50. Brian Epstein offered him The Beatles for £250, but no one would hire him a venue. Vincent’s story has been repeated by papers over the years. Now encouraged by friends old and new with Tear My Heart, he has found a way to tell the story himself, by mixing it with fiction.
