The latest release includes the option to manage individual employee leave either in Days or Hours, giving employee administrators and managers’ greater control and flexibility over office leave and absence.
Another handy feature lets staff members be ‘tagged’ allowing the grouping of teams or
colleagues across departments – this is a great help when planning a team or a project.
You don’t even have to log in to the web application to see who’s off. With the new calendar feeds you can subscribe to your WhosOff calendar from Microsoft Outlook or Google Calendar and view the holiday for your company or individual department via your Outlook/Google calendars.
A host of other minor updates, including the facility to sort certain screens and show who and when leave was approved by, have all been driven by user feedback. The feature list has increased considerably since its launch in July 2006.
Project manager, Philip Cross said “At WhosOff.com, we actively encourage user feedback and implement features that users would benefit from and not just because we think it would be a good idea. Early next year we will be looking at a mobile version as this is a high priority for our users. ”
At WhosOff.com you can see another innovation - real time statistics, showing the number of leave requests processed by the system (Currently over 900,000). No other staff leave application does that.
