San Diego Boca FC Defender Mike Grba To Miss 6-8 Weeks With Broken Collarbone

PRLog (Press Release) - Nov. 6, 2010 - San Diego, CA – San Diego Boca FC will be without their starting left defender Mike Grba for as much two to three months after taking a nasty spill at training at Helix High Soccer Stadium on Thursday night breaking his left collarbone. Mike Grba has been one of the most reliable defensive players on the roster this season for SD Boca FC, solidifying the defense.

San Diego Boca FC Head Coach Papo Santos said of the injury, “This is a tough hit for Mike and our squad but Mike will be back soon and we will be pulling for him for a speedy recovery. Grba has been a crucial part of our defense, and consistently matches up with some of the best attackers in the league to shut them down. I know we have some guys that will be able to step up to fill the position, but Mike’s absence will be felt.”
