Plachta, Murphy Celebrates Veterans Day throughout November

Nov. 5, 2010 - PRLog -- GRAND RAPIDS, MICH.–The law firm of Plachta, Murphy & Associates, P.C., understands the obstacles and concerns that are presented to our community’s veterans and their families. One of the most often overlooked VA benefit is the Aid & Attendance benefit. This benefit, intended for older vets, is scarcely advertised. In fact, only 4% of eligible Michigan veterans utilize this benefit. Plachta, Murphy & Associates is promoting Veterans Day throughout the month of November by providing free local educational Government Benefits awareness seminars. Presentations will be held at The Terraces of MapleCreek on Nov. 11th at 12:30pm, and at Oak Crest Manor in Jenison at 5:00pm. Both events will have free pizza and refreshments.
