Elsinore Technologies Releases ScreenConnect 1.9

ScreenConnect is a self-hosted remote support solution that provides users the capability to access and control computers remotely. This release, ScreenConnect 1.9, provides functionality and enhancements to core feature sets to improve the overall user experience.

One key feature, reverse screen sharing, is a major draw for many customers. With reverse screen sharing, a technician can share his screen with the client, perhaps for training or demonstration purposes.

Other features included in this update aim to make the technician’s life easier and improve software performance. The screen recording function now uses less CPU and memory. Additional functions have been added to the Android app, such as selecting the screen quality. And the proxy support has been extended to include most conventional and a few unconventional setups, making connections to those clients easier.
