EYE.ca Releases Canadian Newspaper Search iPhone App, EYE Canada

Nov. 5, 2010 - PRLog -- EYE.ca announced the worldwide release of their iPhone application, EYE Canada. The iPhone application enables users to search for articles by key words across all major Canadian daily newspapers. This is the only mobile app providing this functionality, saving mobile users time by eliminating the need to load several newspaper apps or websites to scan for the specific topics they are looking for.

Not only does the EYE Canada app allow searching, but also viewing of the found articles. Moreover, the app enables simple one-click sharing of any found article: by E-mail, by web link cut/paste, or via a Twitter post.

As other mobile news applications released to date follow the old paradigm of content aggregation, finding topical content means having to drill down sequentially by publication, section and date. EYE Canada is the first mobile app to allow true mining of all Canadian newspaper content.
