Solar Farm Gets Green Light From Monroe Township Planning Board

October 28th..... Suncatcher Clean Energy and Ray Angelini, Inc. receive final planning board approval for their 2 megawatt solar farm project in Monroe Township, Gloucester County New Jersey.
 
Nov. 4, 2010 - PRLog -- Suncatcher Clean Energy, LLC. of Mantua, New Jersey received final approval from the Monroe Township, (Gloucester County), Planning Board tonight.  The project has now acquired all of the necessary state, local and BPU approvals. PJM and Atlantic City Electric are midway through interconnection studies and Suncatcher expects to have interconnection approval for first quarter of 2011. The two megawatt, grid connected turn-key solar farm will be designed, engineered, built, managed and maintained by Ray Angelini Incorporated of Sewell, New Jersey. RAI is the leading engineering, procurement construction and maintenance company on the East Coast with over 75 megawatts of commissioned solar projects to date.  The Suncatcher project consists of approximately 8500 solar panels and will generate enough electricity to power 400 homes, alleviate 3000 tons of carbon dioxide discharge into the atmosphere, equivalent to removing 220 pick-up trucks from the road each year. Suncatcher  Clean Energy CEO, David Sharrow commented after the meeting,  “We applaud the forward thinking of Mayor Mike Gabianelli and the Board of Professionals.  We’re well on our way to bringing clean, green, renewable energy to Monroe Township. A growing number of finance providers have expressed interest to provide the financing necessary to bring this project to fruition.”
