NAPO Baltimore to Host Guest Speaker, Mindy Godding, CPO® on Residential Organizing Assessments

PRLog (Press Release) - Nov. 3, 2010 - On Wednesday, November 10th, the Baltimore Chapter of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) will welcome guest speaker Mindy Godding, CPO® for a special presentation on “Building a Perfect Assessment.”

Mindy is a Certified Professional Organizer at Richmond-based Abundance Organizing (http://www.abundanceorganizing.com/). Mindy is also President of the NAPO-Richmond Chapter, a regular NAPO national conference speaker, and course instructor for NAPO PO-201T: Residential Needs Assessment, a popular NAPO National training course for Organizers.

At the November 10th event, Professional Organizers will receive expert advice on client organizing assessments and consultations, and will sharpen their skills on how to confidently analyze the core features of any organizing project – no matter how large or small.

The presentation will include discussion with special focus on extreme spaces for the more advanced residential organizer.
 
Attendees will learn to:

•   Convey the value of an assessment session
•   Develop comfortable fee structures for assessment work
•   Identify format that works best for you
•   Help clients define organizing goals
•   Determine what items are "clutter"
•   Examine & discuss key organizational features of a space
