NEW PERENNIAL HOPE PLATE MAKES PERFECT HOLIDAY GIFT

Added to Riverside Design Group Plates with Purpose Collection to support
Cancer Survivors



Chicago -- The first Perennial Hope™ plate, a crocus, has been introduced by the Riverside Design Group as the latest entry in their Plates with Purpose collection of beautiful, artistic glass plates that support various charitable endeavors.  The Crocus plate benefits FORCE (Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered), a national charity that helps women at high hereditary risk for breast and ovarian cancer.  Following the generous model set by Plates With Purpose™, Riverside Design Group donates 15% of proceeds from the sale of this special plate to FORCE.

Inspired by the story of Lynn Rutstein, a cancer survivor, the plate is the first in a planned series built around the perennial garden that friends and family planted in Lynn’s yard while she was battling chemotherapy and the ravages of breast cancer.

“My cancer journey has taught me that life is like the seasons.  Some seasons are more difficult to navigate than others but much like perennials, the body and spirit rebound, intent on thriving again, adapting as needed to a new environment,” Lynn said. “I hope my Perennial Hope ™ collection gives cancer survivors and their families the inspiration to endure and remain optimistic about the future – both of which were vital to my recovery.”  

Each Plates With Purpose ™ is designed to artistically reflect the mission of its non-profit partner and for every plate sold, Riverside Design gives 15% from the plate sale back to the corresponding organization.  The plates are sold at gift stores across the country or can be purchased directly at www.plateswithpurpose.com/FORCE.
