Nov. 3, 2010 - PRLog -- November 3, 2010--The American Craft Show NYC and Contemporary Art Fair NYC is proud to donate $1 from each ticket sold to NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital, Richard Rothbard, the producer, announced today. The dual event takes place at the Javits Center November 19-21.

“We are inspired by this hospital’s devotion to the cure and care of children who have been dealt overwhelming challenges,” said Rothbard. “There’s also a natural association between our art fair and craft show and the nurturing art and crafts programs at the hospital such as its Beads of Courage and Charna's Kids' Club, the latter for the siblings of sick children.”

In addition to 172 artists and artisans at the fair and show will be guitarists, bluegrass and chamber music groups as well as demonstrations ranging from painting and sketching to weaving, pottery and rustic furniture-making.

One ticket will open doors to both juried events where established and emerging independent artists--painters, photographers, sculptors and others--and artisans of furniture, ceramics, glass, jewelry, fashion and textiles will exhibit their best work.
