Outside the UK, we have consolidated our name in Sri Lanka, opening our regional office for South Asia with a very special Gala Dinner which was attended by the movers and shakers from Colombo ; we have added 2 more courses in our OCI Ireland, such as Business studies with IAM and OTHM Travel, Tourism and Hospitality and also joined forces with Able Immigration of Canada to promote Canadian Immigration.
OCI Ireland in particular, also known as Kerry International Language Academy (KILA) is helping 50 unemployed people from Reunion Island to learn English and find jobs after KILA Director finds out that Reunion island is one of the top 5 countries in the world with the highest unemployment rate. We are very proud of this achievement and would be happy to introduce similar campaigns in the future. We are also planning a Marketing campaign to promote our courses in South America as South Americans do not require pre-visas to study in Ireland, a major advantage these days when immigration is getting tougher on the student visa requirements. Not to forget that all the English courses which have been prepared to meet the communication skills of our foreign students for their further education or work purposes. Kila is our specialized language centre and offer several courses in English, since general to preparatory for IELTS and one to one sessions.
OCI in Sri Lanka has proved to be a major initiative in response to the best demand for our school this year. We have partnered with British Council and participated in their fairs, inclusive the one with OTHM and have established serious contacts which will lead us to the launch of a British University in Sri Lanka. Watch this space!
Back in the UK, we have just been awarded preferred partner college by OTHM which made us feel very privileged and honoured. We are very happy to work with such a respectable QCA awarding body . For next year we have a lot more in the pipeline, new courses, new collaborations, new countries and we even dare to say, new premises, to name but a few.
OCI is going places and we want serious students from all corners of the world on board to help them achieve their dreams in their chosen careers.
