Heritage Conservancy prepares for Christmas at Aldie 2010

Bucks County Charity plans their biggest fundraiser of the year

Nov. 3, 2010 - PRLog -- Doylestown, PA: Heritage Conservancy, the Doylestown, PA-based conservation organization, has announced its annual “Christmas at Aldie” celebration.  The event, which will take place on December 5, 2010, showcases the historic Aldie Mansion and the 50+ year mission of conservation via a world-class black-tie dinner party for over 230 prominent guests.

The event boasts a gourmet meal from Aldie Mansion’s in-house caterer, Jeffrey A. Miller Catering, as well as some fantastic raffle prizes. Guests will be serenaded by the award winning Central Bucks West Choir Ensemble.  Raffles include:
–   “Blue Moon.” The local renowned artist Christopher Willet has painted an enchanting piece called “Blue Moon” in honor of the event.
–   “Walk in Meryl’s Shoes.” Winner will receive a private half-day tour for four tracing Meryl’s local roots, as seen on PBS’s “Faces of America” series led by Jeffrey Marshall and lunch at the historic Black Bass Hotel. Winner will also receive a copy of Bucks & Montgomery Living Magazine autographed by Meryl.

Hors d'oeuvres, followed by a three-course meal will be served in an opulent holiday setting. Tickets are $150 per person for members, $175 per person for non-members..
