Nov. 2, 2010 - PRLog -- November 1, 2010 -- Durham, Ct.  --  Strategic Book Group accuses Andy Crick of the UK Sun of shoddy and irresponsible journalism. and states that there is no basis in fact to Mr. Andy Crick’s story, appearing in “The Sun” on August 27, 2010, in which he states that six year old Leo Hunter received a 23 book deal with the company.

In fact, SBG contracted with author Jamie Hunter, the boy’s mother, for just one book, Me and My Best Friend, which she herself penned under the name J.S. Huntlands. Ms. Hunter dedicated the book to her son, Leo, in hopes he would never forget his canine best friend.

Statements by Mr. Crick that the child wrote the book, and that SBG offered him a multi-book deal can only be described as shoddy and irresponsible journalism.

Strategic Book Group has registered a formal complaint with the Press Complaints Commission (www.PCC.org.uk) and is considering legal action.
